PROJECT: Red County
Posted in: Projects by Scott W. Graves on March 5, 2009
Founded in 2006, Partisan Media launched Red County magazine to target influential business leaders, community leaders, political activists, elected officials, political and communication consultants, political staffers, and the donor community. The high quality print publication featured substantive content written from a center-right political point of view. Our editorial contributors included Hugh Hewitt, Michael Medved, Dennis Prager, and Victor Davis Hanson. Feature interviews have included Newt Gingrich, Fred Thompson, Mitt Romney and Larry Elder. The print version had more than 150,000 readers while the digital edition generated hundreds of thousands of page views per month.
Shortly after launch, Partisan Media acquired the popular OC Blog website and quickly expanded it into a network of 42 state and county level blogs with 28 editors and more that 400 editorial contributors. Traffic to the sites was robust and increased 469% in the first 12 months.
Sarphi collaborated with Plasticmind Design (@plasticmind) on the 2007 and 2008 versions of the Red County network of political blogs.
