Q) Why do I get the default Sarphi screensaver instead of published messages?
A) This could happen when the deadline for the latest message has passed and no new message(s) have been posted by your administrator.
Q) Why am I getting an older message rather than the latest message?
A) This could happen when you are not connected to the Internet. SamePage client application requires your workstations to be online in order to download the latest message.
Q) Me and my staff are connected to the Internet and we're still having trouble getting the last published message. Why?
A) Check the publish date of the latest message. It may have been accidentally set to a future date. This problem could also be related to a temporary bandwidth issue from your Internet service provider. Does your Internet connection seem slow? A good way of determining your Internet connection speed is to perform a speed test. These tests are free of charge and available on the Internet.
Q) I'm the message administrator and I'm using Netscape and Opera as my browser. Some of the interface functionality doesn't seem to be working. Why?
A) SamePage Message Manager interface is fully compatible with Explorer, FireFox and AOL browsers. Other browsers are not supported.
Q) As the administrator of message publishing, it is my responsibility to verify that our staff is viewing my messages. How do I accompolish this?
A) The SamePage Message Manager interface provides administrators with this functionality. Upon login, click the "Admin" button and select the "User Accounts Dashboard" option. There you will find a list of all users who have installed the client application. An indication will let you know if they've already seen the message or not. You can also make changes to each account thru this interface.
Q) Sometimes I am able to display three messages per template and other times just two. Why?
A) Templates that have a vertical message layout (one under another) could contain up to three message paragraphs. Horizontal message layouts can contain up to two message paragraphs. The benefit of a horizontal message layout is that it generally allows for a larger graphic space.
Q) Where can I see the list of published pages that I've made along with the dates they will appear?
A) SamePage does not archive published pages. Once your page is published, it replaces the previous one. Though, you can archive your messages and re-publish them whenever and however you'd like.
